Bainbridge Elementary's 5th grade students read the novel, Number the Stars, by Lois Lowry. The story is about a young girl who shows incredible bravery to help her Jewish best friend escape Denmark during the Nazi occupation.
After finishing the book, Mrs. Martin's students worked on a project in which they created a One-Pager, and analyzed the story's elements and characters. The students did an excellent job.
Bainbridge Elementary had a wonderful Spring Program tonight starring our 3rd and 4th grade students. The students did a fantastic job! A HUGE thank you goes out to Bainbridge Elementary's Music Teacher, Mrs. Pierce, for leading this wonderful program.

We had an AMAZING Grandparents' Night at Bainbridge Elementary. Thank you so much for everyone who attended and helped make this night a very special evening for so many.
Bainbridge Elementary will be hosting a Grandparents' Night on Wednesday, February 28th from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This will be an "open house event," so grandparents and students can come anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Students can bring their grandparents or a “grand” person from their family on this night to enjoy a treat, tour the school, and visit the book fair. "Read Across America Week" begins tomorrow (Monday, February 26th) at Bainbridge Elementary. We will have special spirit days through the week to commemorate "Read Across America Week and to celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday."

We have had an amazing Kindness Week at Bainbridge Elementary this week. Our Student Council conducted a “Penny War” competition between all the grade levels with the proceeds being donated to the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Our awesome students raised $1,177.85. We are so proud of our students, and thank you so much for everyone that participated.
