North Putnam High School -

New Student registration for ALL North Putnam Community Schools will be held on Wednesday August 2, 2023. This will take place at North Putnam High School in the cafeteria Noon-7:00 p.m.

Due to the widespread power outage, the board meeting which was scheduled for today has been postponed to July 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the North Putnam High School LGI room.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Lucas Murphy. Lucas is the son of Michael and Angie Murphy. Lucas plans to enroll at Wabash College to major in business and finance. While attending Wabash, Lucas will also be a member of the wrestling team. Lucas would like to thank his family, friends, teachers, and coaches who have helped him to this point. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Opry Curran. Opry is the daughter of Scott and Kim Curran. Opry plans to go to Ivy Tech to study architectural design. Congratulations Opry on a successful high school career, and we wish you the very best. Opry would like to thank her parents and teachers for pushing her to do her best and to Keaton Burress, just because. NPHS is excited to celebrate the future plans of it's Class of 2023. Summer Meal Program: Meals are Free from May 30-June 30 for Breakfast and Lunch at NPMS. We are open to the public. 18 and under are Free. Adults for a small fee. If we get enough participation we may extend through July.

Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Jada Brooks. Jada is the daughter of Stephanie and Vince Brooks. Jada plans to go to Indiana University in Bloomington to study an undecided major. Sam is a hard working student and we know he will find success after high school. Sam would like to thank his teachers and parents for making school a memory he won't forget. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Ethan Harrison. Ethan is the son of Casie and Alan Martin and Jeff Harrison. Ethan plans to enter the workforce directly after high school. He has already secured summer employment with Spear Corporation and plans to continue working at Roachdale Hardware. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate River Laverty. River is the son of Terri Laverty and Daryl Porter. River is divided between going to college and going straight into the workforce. He is interested in owning his own business following in his father's footsteps. As an avid Nascar fan he looks forward to many upcoming races and spending time with his family at the brickyard. River would like to thank Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Weaver, Mrs. Williams, Mr. Chew, Mr. Wagler and Mr. Brothers for all believing in him and pushing him to do his best. Following graduation Levi intends to attend Purdue University in the fall to study Industrial Design (consumer product). Levi would like to thank his friends, family, and teachers for all of their support throughout the years. Following graduation Kylie intends to attend Purdue University in the fall to study Supply Chain Engineering and Logistics. Kylie would like to thank her parents for guiding her through high school. Cougar Nation, let's celebrate Toby Cox. Toby is the son of Troy Cox and Kristie Alexander. Toby intends to enter the workforce after graduation and has his sights set on manufacturing. Toby has several prospective job opportunities, and we are excited to see where he lands in the coming days. We wish Toby nothing but the best! The future Screaming Eagle plans to major in Elementary Education and minor in Special Education. Keaton would like to thank her family, staff at North Putnam, and friends for always pushing and helping her in and out of school. We are proud of Keaton for deciding to pursue a career in education, and know that she will be a phenomenal teacher. We wish her the very best at U.S.I. Carter intends to enroll at IUPUI to study Homeland Security with the hope to become a firefighter within Marian County. Carter would like to thank his parents for always being supportive.
