Friday, February 3rd is going to be a very exciting day at Bainbridge Elementary.
-It is National Bubble Gum Day and our Student Council will be selling bubble gum in the morning for 50 cents per piece.
-Our 2nd grade students will have their Lunar New Year "celebration parade" and feast.
-Also, on Friday, February 3rd the North Putnam School group that is participating in the "Dancing with the Putnam County Stars" Lip Sync Battle fundraiser is close to reaching their goal. This fundraiser benefits the Putnam County Youth Development Commission. To help with this endeavor, we are going to offer a “HAT DAY” and students can pay $1.00 to wear their favorite hat to school on Friday.

Imagine a blood supply that ensures all patients have access to equitable healthcare and treatment.
· Pediatric patients use 652,000 units annually.
· 25% of the blood supply is used by patients battling cancer.
· 1 in 83 infant births require a blood transfusion.
· Patients needing an organ transplant could be forced to pass up a lifesaving operation if compatible blood is not available to support the transplant.
· A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 units of blood.

ATTENTION PLEASE! Good afternoon! This is an important message for Bainbridge Elementary students and parents since our school is a Town of Bainbridge Water Customer. The Town of Bainbridge Water is still on a boil order until further notice. We are asking all students to bring at least one bottled water to school with them again tomorrow (Friday, October 7th). The school will be able to provide each student with 1 bottled water again for tomorrow. The cafeteria staff stated that this boil order will not effect school breakfast or school lunch again for tomorrow. Thank you very much, and we hope you all have a wonderful evening!
